The Lovettsville Dolphins are looking forward to hosting Divisionals in Lovettsville this Saturday July 20^th.

Swim Meet Declaration Guidelines:Swimmers may sign up to swim in a maximum of three individual events choosing from Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke, Butterfly, and Individual Medley. There are no relays at Divisionals.

Eligibility Rules:

1.Swimmers must have participated in a minimum of 2 regular season swim meets not including time trials

2.Swimmers must have a valid time for an event (NT entries are not permitted)

3.If a swimmer has qualified to swim in one event at the All Star meet, they may participate in Divisionals but may not compete in the event for which they achieved an All Star qualification time.

4.If a swimmer has qualified to swim in two or more events at the All Star meet they are not eligible to participate in the Divisionals swim meet.

Please note, the pool at Lovettsville is 25 yards in length. This is shorter than all of the other pools our team has competed in this season. Times will be adjusted from yards to meters when they are recorded in Meet Maestro.

Please consider this schedule tentative until final swimmer numbers are in tonight.

Preliminary Schedule:

• 6:00 am – Set-up crew arrives
• 6:15 am – Venue open for arrival
• 6:15-6:45 am – Volunteer Check-in (Bleachers to the right as you enter the aquatics center)
• 6:20-6:45 am – Dolphins Warmups
• 7:00 am – Timers Briefing (on deck) – Next to the Climbing Wall (please let us know if you split timers into groups i.e. first half/second half as we do not have a break to swap them out)
• 7:00 am – Officials Briefing (on deck) – Next to officials table at Lane 1
• 6:45-7:10 am – Tavistock Warmups
• 7:10-7:35 am – Stoneleigh (Lanes 1-3) Greenway Gators (Lanes 4-6) Warmups
• 7:35-8:00 am – Rivercrest Warmups
• 8:05 am – National Anthem (6Us should be lined up in chairs at this time)
• 8:10 am – Start

Location: 57 East Broad Way, Lovettsville, VA

Parking: The loop Infront of the community center will be used as a pull through for dropping off swimmers and equipment. Swimmer and spectator seating will be in the lower gravel parking lot. There will be Parking Directors to help you.

Six parking spaces will be available in the paved lot for your Team Rep, three coaches, and two for an equipment manager / tent transporter (or whoever you want). Please tell the Parking Official that you are a coach.

All other parking is at the “Dog Park” parking lot within the Community Center. The address is 12565 Milltown Road, and despite the directions Google will probably provide, it is easiest to make a left out of the aquatics center, drive approximately 1000 ft. and turn right into the park. On the Right past the equine center will be a gravel road to the Dog Park parking lot. A paved path back to the Aquatics Center is at the east side of the parking lot. Aquatics is about 100 yards down the path.

The host team will have “Event Parking” signs and arrows to direct you. We have coordinated with PRCS to open the gate at 6:00 am as it is meant to be open at “sunrise”.

There will be parking officials in the aquatics lot to assist you.

Restrooms: Restrooms are located in the Men’s and Women’s pass through into the aquatics center.

Concessions: The Dolphins are proud to welcome back Catoctin Coffee and Gringo Gordo Empanadas this year. We will have Sausage Egg and Cheese, Caprese, Pepperoni, and Apple empanadas available for this meet! We will also have the usual swim meet snacks, candy and Gatorade and water! Our awesome concessions center accepts cash but prefers credit card or Apple Pay.

Team and Spectator seating: Seating will be in the gravel parking lot. The Gators will bring several canopies. We have been advised there is space for 10 12’x12’ canopies for each team. If you have one and would like to bring it, please do. The weather looks rainy and it will be nice to have cover for everyone while we wait for our heats. Please also bring chairs to sit in, or picnic blankets as we will be staging in a gravel lot. Each team will have an area marked out for seating and set up. Families will be asked to pull or carry tents from the pull through area. If you can coordinate to get all tents in a mini-van or SUV they should be able to pull down to the gravel for unloading.

Heat Sheets: We will send heat sheets as soon as they are available.

The Lenah Run Froggers are looking forward to hosting the Greenway Gators during our upcoming meet on Saturday July 13, 2024. Below you will find details about the facility, schedule, theme and other information.

Location:40607 Lenah Run Circle; Aldie, VA 20105

Parking Details:There are several parking spots in the pool parking lot. Cars are allowed to park on the shoulders of the roads, but please pull your car fully onto the shoulder of the road, observe no parking signs, and lastly please don’t park near the intersections as it makes it difficult for residents to see oncoming traffic. Please also obey speed limit /stop signs in the neighborhood

Entrance instructions:Teams will be staged outside of the pool area either in the grass near the emergency entrance or in a roped off area in the handicap parking spots. Please bring chairs or towels/blankets to sit on (in the staging area and on deck).

Theme: Hats and Sunglasses (the more outlandish, the better!)

Warmups:The Gators will have the pool for a 20-minute warm up from 7:35-7:55am. Shortly thereafter we will play the National Anthem. Coach Emma will be looking for 3 swimmers to swim the flags across the pool while the Anthem is played.

***The Meet will start promptly at 8:00AM.

**Official briefings will occur at 7:30 am. Immediately followed by Timer Briefings at 7:40 am.

Spectator Viewing Area:The spectator viewing area will be near the shallow area & beside the baby pool. Please bring chairs. There will be some on deck but likely not enough for everyone.

Restricted Areas: The shallow area of the pool will be closed as Lenah Run will not have guards on the stand.

Concessions:Concessions will be located inside the pool area near the main entrance. There will be Anita's breakfast burritos, donuts and other snacks available for purchase along with coffee, soda, Gatorade, water, etc. Lenah Run accepts cash and card payment.
