Loudoun Valley Estates has a 6-lane 25-meter pool. The meet will be run with two starting systems, one at one end for 25 and one at the opposite end for 50/100s.

The Franklin Park Stingrays are looking forward to hosting the Greenway Gators during our upcoming meet. Below are details about the facility, schedule, and other important information.

Location: Franklin Park: 17501 Franklin Park Drive, Purcellville, VA 20132

Parking Details: Please use the spaces in the lot and when that is full, park on Franklin Park Drive.

Schedule:

• Pool Deck Open: 6:10 AM
• Warmups for the Stingrays: 6:15 AM
• Warmups for the Gators: 6:40 AM
• Meet Start Time: 7:10 AM (or as soon as possible after warmups) 
• Meet End Time: HARD STOP at 10:30 AM. Note: We have been able to get to relays in the past, but it is not always possible.
• Official briefings: 6:40 AM (Computer Operations table)
• Timers briefing: 6:50 AM (Computer Operations table)

Team Staging Area: Please have swimmers find their team area on our grassy area adjacent to the pool. A Franklin Park representative will be there to help guide our team to the area. There are a few picnic tables, but we are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets, or towels to sit. Parents can sit in the same area with their swimmers, watch from the bleachers, or the deck behind the bleachers.

Restricted Area: Franklin Park has a Splash Pad and wading pools that are OFF LIMITS during the meet. We ask for the help of your rounders and parents to enforce these rules.

Important: Franklin Park is a yard’s pool. In case swimmers ask the timer what their time is after their race- just remind them to multiply that time by 1.11. Our computer operators will convert the numbers in the meet results after the meet.

Concession Stand: There will be a concession stand with breakfast burritos, donuts, watermelon, coffee, water and Gatorade. Please bring cash or PayPal (QR code) are accepted.

The Greenway Farms Gators will be hosting the Potomac Crossing Barracudas on Wednesday, July 8!

The Gators will be recognizing our graduating seniors at 5:45. Please note the adjusted schedule for warm-ups below.

Spirit Theme: Glow Night!

Location: 55 Meade Drive SW, Leesburg, VA

Parking Details: Please leave space for our visiting team to park in our pool parking lot. Additional parking space is available on Greenway Drive and Meade Drive.

Entrance Instructions: Please use the locker rooms to enter and exit the pool area.

Schedule:

• Pool Deck open: 4:45pm
• Greenway Farms warmups: 4:55 - 5:15 pm
• Visiting team warmups: 5:15 – 5:35 pm
• Officials briefing: 5:15 pm by the lifeguard office
• Timers briefing: 5:30 pm by the lifeguard office
• Senior Recognition: 5:45 pm
• National Anthem: 5:55 pm. (Each team to provide three swimmers to swim flags across the pool.)
• Meet begins: 6:00 pm
• Meet ends: 8:30 pm (approx)

Volunteers: The meet will not begin until all volunteer spots are filled. Please sign up now to avoid delays on Saturday morning.

Spectator Area: Gators spectators should use the space along the pool house side of the pool and the half of the lounge chair area closest to the awning. Please leave space for swimmers to move from one end of the space to the other to set up for their events.

Supervision: Coaches are responsible for the conduct of their swimmers and families and for cleaning up their team areas. Parents, please remind your swimmers to stay with the team during the meet and to clean up afterward.

Restricted Areas: The game room is reserved for concessions. The walk-in area of the main pool and the baby pool are closed during the meet.

Concessions: Cash-only sweet and savory concessions (e.g., pizza and hot dogs, chips, candy, and a variety of cold drinks) will be available.

Weather: If the weather impacts the swim meet, a text alert will be sent using SwimTopia. There is a 30-minute wait period after a thunder/lightning strike. The pool deck must be cleared during that time. Team Reps and Head Coaches will address any weather delays accordingly.
