The Greenway Gators look forward to hosting the Evergreen Meadows Makos for our swim meet on Saturday, June 13!

Spirit Theme: Superheroes / Mystical Creatures -- From superheroes to unicorns, dragons, fairies, and everything in between—bring your favorite legendary character to the pool this week. Capes, armor, wings, and magical flair are all welcome!

Location: 55 Meade Drive SW, Leesburg, VA

Parking Details: We will aim to leave space for our visiting team to park in our pool parking lot. Additional parking space is available on Greenway Drive and Meade Drive.

Entrance Instructions: Please use the locker rooms to enter and exit the pool area.

Schedule:

• Pool Deck opens at 7:00 am
• Greenway Farms warmups are from 7:10 – 7:30 am
• Visiting team warmups are from 7:30 – 7:50 am
• Officials briefing is at 7:35 am by the lifeguard office
• Timers briefing is at 7:45 am by the lifeguard office
• The National Anthem will be played at 7:55 am. We will be looking for three swimmers from each team to swim flags across the pool.
• The meet will begin at 8:00 am

Spectator Area: The visiting team will use the snack area (to the far right as you enter the pool deck from the locker rooms) with their guests using the space at that end of the pool. Please also share the space along the back fence (long lounge chairs). Gators spectators will use the space along the pool house side of the pool and the half of the lounge chair area closest to the awning. Please be sure to leave space for swimmers to move from one end of the space to the other so they can set up for their events.

Supervision: Coaches are responsible for the conduct of their swimmers and families and for cleaning up their team areas. Please remind swimmers to stay with their team during the meet and to clean up afterward.

Concessions: Anita’s breakfast burritos, donuts, chips, assorted candy, and drinks, including coffee will be available to purchase. As a reminder, Gators concessions are cash only and small bills are appreciated.

Weather: If weather impacts the swim meet, a text alert will be sent using SwimTopia. There is a 60-minute wait period after a thunder/lightning strike. The pool deck must be cleared during that time. Team Reps and Head Coaches will address any weather delays accordingly.

Heat Sheets: Will be published to the Documents and Links page once available. Copies will also be displayed in the team area at the meet. You can also follow the meet using the SwimTopia app. There is a 7-day free trial and a $5.99/month charge thereafter.

The Dulles Farm Devil Rays are pleased to host our fellow ODSL teams for this year’s All Stars. The meet will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025. We anticipate seeing over 400 swimmers from across Loudoun County compete. The meet is scheduled to start at 8:00 a.m.

The Greenway Gators are excited to welcome Kirkpatrick Farms, Hartland, Franklin Park, and Belmont for our Divisional swim meet on Saturday, July 19.

Meet Schedule:

Please arrive at the pool by 5:45 am and NLT 6:30 am

• 6:05 – 6:20 am – Greenway Farms (Lanes 1 – 3) and Belmont (Lanes 4 – 6) Warmups
• 6:20 – 6:35 am – Franklin Park (Lanes 1 – 3) and Hartland (Lanes 5 – 6) Warmups
• 6:35 – 6:50 am – Kirkpatrick Farms Warmups
• 6:50 am – Pool Closed for final set-up/staging
• 6:55 am – National Anthem (6Us should be lined up in chairs at this time)
• 7:00 am – Start
• 12:00 pm - End

Please carefully review the swimmer drop-off and parking instructions below to help us manage traffic flow on Saturday morning.

Swimmer Drop-off and Parking:

• Carpooling is encouraged
• Swimmers may be dropped off beginning at 5:45 am.
• The Greenway Farms pool parking lot entrance will primarily be used as a pull through for dropping off swimmers and equipment.
• There will be four spaces reserved for each team. These are intended for your Team Rep, Head Coach, an Assistant Coach, and one additional designated team member. Parking passes have been sent to you.
• There will be limited handicapped parking. Appropriate decals are required to use those spaces.

Swimmer Drop-Off Route

To maintain traffic flow, all teams must follow a one-way loop for swimmer and supply drop-off:

1. Enter Greenway Drive SW from Route 15 / South King Street.
2. Continue along Greenway Drive SW through the neighborhood and pull around to Meade Drive SW.
3. Drop off swimmers and supplies in front of the Greenway Farms Pool.
4. Exit the neighborhood by continuing on Meade Drive to the stoplight at South King Street and turning left.

This one-way loop is marked as "One Way to Drop Off" on the map.

General Parking (Field Lot)

After drop-off, continue on South King Street and:

1. Turn left at the light onto Greenway Drive SW.
2. Take the first left toward the field parking lot.
3. Parking will be located on the field just before the big red barn.

Please note: Google Maps may not suggest this route. Following these directions helps reduce congestion within the neighborhood.

Walking from Field Parking

After parking, walk across the field toward South King Street. Turn right onto the paved path to return to the Greenway Farms Pool.

Parking Restrictions

• No parking is allowed within the Greenway Farms neighborhood
• No parking is permitted along Meade Drive or Greenway Drive during the event

Event Parking signs and on-site parking officials will be present to guide you.

Team and Spectator Seating

Team Seating and Setup

Each team will be assigned a designated area in the paved lot to the left of the pool house.

• Please bring your own canopies and chairs.
• Each team will have a marked space for setup. This space will accommodate approximately 8-10 10’x10’ canopies.
• Families should pull or carry tents and supplies from the swimmer drop-off loop. Volunteers may assist with unloading, but no vehicles will be permitted to park in setup areas.

Spectator Seating

Spectators are welcome to view the meet from the following areas:

• The grassy hill at the back of the parking lot (left side of the pool)
• The grassy area in front of the parking lot on the right side of the pool

Please bring chairs or picnic blankets, as there is no seating provided and some areas are paved.

Pool Deck Access

To ensure swimmer safety and meet efficiency:

• The pool deck is restricted to swimmers, volunteers, and officials.
• Spectators may briefly enter the deck to watch their swimmer's race only, then must exit once the race is complete.
• Chairs are not permitted on the pool deck, and standing areas will be limited.

Reminders

• Coaches and parents are responsible for supervising swimmers and maintaining respectful behavior throughout the event.
• Please ensure swimmers stay with their team to avoid missed events.
• Teams are responsible for keeping their areas clean during and after the meet.

Restrooms: Restrooms are located in the Men’s and Women’s pass through of the pool house. These are for athletes ONLY. There will also be porta-johns for spectators and volunteers.

Concessions: The Gators Concession Stand will be set-up outside the pool house. We will have Chick-Fil-A sandwiches, Anita’s Burritos, Dunkin Donuts, and the usual swim meet snacks, candy, Gatorade and water! Our awesome concessions center accepts cash but prefers Venmo. We are excited to also have the Kona Ice Truck on site that morning.

Heat Sheets: Heat sheets will be published on Friday, July 18 and distributed accordingly.

Awards: Medals will be given for places 1 – 12 for all events. Team Reps / Coaches can pick up their teams awards at the conclusion of the meet. The medals tent will be located in the baby pool area on the pool deck.
