Congratulations, Mini Gators, on your final Mini Meet last week! We were so excited to host this one and loved seeing every Mini from Greenway, Exeter, Potomac Crossing and Potomac Station at the pool.

Now for the week ahead…

• Regular Season Practices:
  • Regular season practices ONLY on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday this week
  • Mini Gators practices ONLY on Monday and Tuesday this week

  • Practices will be held Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday at 6:00 and 6:45
  • Reminder: Swimmers may attend one practice per day during the regular season. If your swimmer is interested in additional instruction, please reach out. Several Gators Coaches are available to provide private instruction.

Regular Season Practice Schedule

MORNING PRACTICE: Monday, Tuesday, and Friday AM

EVENING PRACTICE: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday at either 6:00 – 6:45 pm OR 6:45 – 7:30 pm. These sessions are reserved for swimmers who need evening practice due to day camp or childcare conflicts.

Please note:

• Evening practice is intended to replace daytime practice when needed — not supplement it.
• Swimmers may attend only one practice session per weekday (either daytime practice or evening practice, not both).
• Space is limited to 12 swimmers per 45-minute session.
• Please only sign up for sessions your swimmer plans to attend.
• If your plans change and your swimmer can no longer attend, please cancel your sign-up as soon as possible so another swimmer may use the spot.
• Families must register each swimmer individually for evening practice sessions.

Mini Gators Practice Schedule

Minis will practice Monday and Tuesday from 8:00 – 8:30 am. Team and individual pictures replace practice on Wednesday - see you there!

Treats This Week:

• Donut Friday – Donuts and juice for our morning practice attendees on Friday! Please sign up to help provide donuts to our third practice participants

Swim Meet This Week:

We have one swim meet this week - Divisionals!

IMPORTANT: If your Gator(s) would like to participate, you must declare your intent by the deadline listed below. Changes absolutely cannot be made after the deadline.

Saturday, July 18: Divisionals at Loudoun Valley Estates

• Declare your swimmers by 7:00 pm Thursday, July 16. We cannot adjust the roster after the deadline.
• Eligibility:
  • Swimmers must have participated in at least 2 ODSL sanctioned meets during the 2026 season (not including Time Trials)
  • Swimmers must have a valid time in any event they enter
  • Swimmers who make 1 qualifying All-Star time will be eligible to swim at Divisionals, but not in the event they qualified for
  • Swimmers who have 2 or more All-Star qualifying times will not be eligible to swim at the Divisional meet
  • A swimmer MAY achieve an All-Stars cut time at the Divisional Meet.
• Swimmers may sign-up for a maximum of 3 individual events. Team relays are not held at EOS meets
• Please sign up to Volunteer.
• Pool location: 43636 Lucketts Bridge Circle, Ashburn, VA
• Pool deck opens: TBD
• Warm-ups: TBD (either 6:00 am OR 6:25 am)
• Meet begins: 7:00 am
• Meet Ends: 12:30 pm (hard stop)
• Additional information will be sent as soon as it is available.

Picture Day!

• Date: Wednesday, July 15
• Time: 8:00 am (Individual/Sibling photos). 9:00 am (Team photo - we would love to have EVERYONE there - Gators and Mini Gators alike!)

Online Ordering Instructions

Please place your order before Picture Day. Ordering in advance helps us move quickly through individual and sibling photos so we can finish the team picture before it gets too hot.

If you are not ordering pictures, we do hope you will still come for the team picture - we would love to have as many Gators and Mini Gators in the team photo as possible.

Before You Begin

1. Go to www.olsonphotography.com.
2. If you've ordered from Olson Photography before, enter your email address to retrieve your account information.
3. If you're a new customer, scroll down and select "Place New Order."
4. Enter the access code: SWIM.
5. Enter your swimmer's information.
   • If you're ordering for multiple children, you'll have the option to add another child before continuing.

Complete Your Order

1. Click "Continue to Products" and select the items you'd like to purchase.
2. Complete your purchase.

You will receive a confirmation email containing an order number for each child you ordered.

Please save this email. On Picture Day, write each child's order number on the photo slip (provided at the shoot) and give it to the photographer. Orders cannot be processed without an order number.

Note: If you place an order for multiple children in the same transaction, each child will receive a separate order number.

Important Reminders

• Order before Picture Day to avoid additional processing fees.
• Olson Photography accepts online payments only. Cash and checks are not accepted.
• We recommend printing your order confirmation or having the confirmation email readily available on Picture Day.

After pictures are finished, we'll have some fun water games for the swimmers—we hope you'll stick around!

2026 Greenway Gators Team Banquet - Thursday, July 16

Please join us to celebrate the 2026 season!

• Who: Gators, Mini Gators, and their families
• What: Pool party, banquet, and awards! Come hungry for pizza and cake!
• When: Thursday, July 16 from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
• Where: Greenway Farms Pool
• Please RSVP in SwimTopia so we know how much food to prepare.

Final Notes:

• 2026 Gators Photo Album: Please share candid and swim meet photos to our Google Photo Album - we will be printing photos to display at the banquet.
• ODSL All Stars will be held Saturday, July 25 for eligible swimmers only. More information will be shared with qualifying swimmers as soon as it is available.
