Regular Season Practice Schedule

MORNING PRACTICE: As usual this week - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday AM

EVENING PRACTICE: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday at either 6:00 – 6:45 pm OR 6:45 – 7:30 pm. These sessions are reserved for swimmers who need evening practice due to day camp or childcare conflicts.

Please note:

• Evening practice is intended to replace daytime practice when needed — not supplement it.
• Swimmers may attend only one practice session per weekday (either daytime practice or evening practice, not both).
• Space is limited to 12 swimmers per 45-minute session.
• Please only sign up for sessions your swimmer plans to attend.
• If your plans change and your swimmer can no longer attend, please cancel your sign-up as soon as possible so another swimmer may use the spot.
• Families must register each swimmer individually for evening practice sessions.

Mini Gators Practice Schedule

Minis will practice Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 8:00 – 8:30 am. Coach Molly Graham will be in touch with all Mini Gators to determine interest and availability for the final Mini Meet of the season which will be held at HOME on Thursday, July 9.

Treats This Week:

• Mini Morsels after Mini Gators practice on Wednesday. Mini Gators families, this is being coordinated with you directly.
• Sweet Treat Thursday – Popsicles for our evening practice attendees on Thursday! Please sign up to help provide goodies
• Donut Friday – Donuts and juice for our morning practice attendees on Friday! Please sign up to help provide donuts to our third practice participants

Swim Meets This Week:

We have two swim meets this week!

IMPORTANT: If your Gator(s) would like to participate, you must declare your intent by the deadlines listed below. Changes absolutely cannot be made after the deadline.

For dual meets, swimmers may sign up for a maximum of 3 events (Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke, Butterfly, or Individual Medley). Swimmers ages 13 and over may also sign up for the bonus 100 Freestyle event.

Swimmers may also be assigned to a relay by Coach Emma. Please be sure to indicate whether your swimmer is available/not available for relay events when you complete the Meet Entry form.

Wednesday, July 8: HOME vs. Potomac Crossing

• Declare your swimmers by 7:00 pm Monday, July 6. We cannot adjust the roster after the deadline.
• Theme: Glow/Neon Night!
• Please sign up to Volunteer.
• Pool location: 55 Meade Drive SW, Leesburg, VA 20175
• Pool deck opens: 5:00 PM
• Greenway Gators warm-up: 5:10 - 5:30 pm
• Visiting team warm-up: 5:30 - 5:50 pm
• Officials briefing: 5:35 pm by the lifeguard office
• Timers briefing: 5:45 pm by the lifeguard office
• National Anthem: 5:55 pm
• Meet begins: 6:00 pm
• Meet Ends: 9:00 pm (approx)
• Concessions – Cash-only sweet and savory concessions (e.g., pizza and hot dogs, chips, candy, and a variety of cold drinks) will be available.
• Parking: Please leave space for our visiting team to park in our pool parking lot. Additional parking space is available on Greenway Drive and Meade Drive.
• Swimmers must stay in their team area. Staying together will help ensure no one misses a race.

Saturday, July 11: AWAY vs. Franklin Park Stingrays

• Declare your swimmers by 7:00 pm Thursday, July 9. We cannot adjust the roster after the deadline.

Mini Meet: Thursday, July 9 at HOME!

• Coach Molly will be regarding sign-ups and meet details.
• All Gators are invited to come out and cheer on our Mini Gators - the meet begins at 9:00! Hope to see you there!

Final Notes:

• Picture Day is coming! Mark your calendars for July 15th. Picture day replaces morning practice that day. Information on ordering team and/or individual photos is available in SwimTopia and will be sent separately next week.
• Our Team Banquet is NEXT week! We hope to see everyone at the pool on Thursday, July 16 to celebrate everyone’s achievements as we prepare to enter the post-season swim meets - Divisionals and All Stars. Please RSVP in SwimTopia so we know how much food to prepare. ALL Gators, Mini Gators, and their families are invited - it’s a pool party, with plenty of food, drinks, and cake (of course)!
• 2026 Gators Photo Album: Please share candid and swim meet photos to our Google Photo Album - we will be printing photos to display at the banquet.
