Spirit Theme: Green Out!

Wear your favorite Gators green tonight—swimmers and parents alike! Let's turn Willowsford into a sea of green and show our Gator spirit!

Location

Sycamore Pool, 23564 Founders Drive, Ashburn, VA

Schedule

• 5:00 PM - Pool deck opens
• 5:10-5:30 PM - North Waves Warm-ups
• 5:30-5:50 PM - Gators Warm-ups
• 5:30 PM- Officials briefing - behind starter station
• 5:40 PM - Timer briefing - near computer tent
• 5:57 PM - National Anthem
• 6:00 PM - Meet begins
• 9:30 PM - Meet ends (estimated)

Team Area

The team area is located in the circular parking lot immediately north of the pool. This area will be blocked from vehicle traffic.

The home team sets up on the west side of the parking lot and the visiting team sets up on the east side. The Gators are welcome to use the paved or grassy area. Willowsford North asks that swimmers stay in the team area and stay away from the amphitheater and playground during the meet.

The clerk tent will be set up on the south end adjacent to the pool.

Several large trash bins will be placed around the team areas so that we can keep the area clean.

Swimmer Drop-off

Swimmers can be dropped off using the circle immediately north of the team areas, or they can be dropped off near the pool entrance and use the sidewalk to access the team areas.

Parking

Parents are welcome to park in any space in the lot, or on the street along Founders drive.

Volunteers

Greenway Farms still needs several second-half volunteers for tonight's meet. As a reminder, each family is required to volunteer at least 3 times during the season. With 74 Greenway swimmers participating this evening, we need all volunteer positions filled to ensure the meet runs smoothly and starts on time. 

If you will be attending the meet—especially if you have not yet fulfilled your volunteer requirement—please sign up as soon as possible.

On Deck Seating

When setting up folding chairs, please keep back from the edge of the pool so that spectators can easily move in and out to view their swimmers’ heats. Also, please be mindful of walkways and foot traffic, especially around the corners of the pool.

The baby pool and shallow end of the big pool will be blocked off, but please ask parents to make sure that little ones stay out of the water. Unfortunately, that includes feet, toes, etc.

Concessions

Warm food, donuts, snacks, candy, and drinks will be available for purchase from our concession stand.

Willowsford North accepts cash and Venmo for payment, with a $5 minimum purchase for Venmo.
