Time Trials Details: Greenway Gators with Ida Lee Eeliminators (Saturday, June 6, 2026)
Good afternoon,
We look forward to hosting our home team and the Ida Lee Eeliminators during Time Trials on Saturday, June 6, 2026!
Details and the event program (aka, Heat Sheets) can be found below. ALL Gators (Minis, too!) are encouraged to come to Time Trials, whether or not they are swimming. It is a great way to see how swim meets are run if you’re new to the team. It's also a lot of fun to cheer on your teammates as they establish their initial event times for the 2026 season.
Schedule:
- Arrive: 7:00 AM
- Greenway Farms warmups: 7:10 - 7:30 AM
- Ida Lee warmups: 7:30 - 7:50 AM
- Officials' briefing: 7:35 AM by the lifeguard office
- Timers briefing: 7:45 AM by the lifeguard office
- National Anthem: 7:55 AM. We will be looking for three swimmers from each team to swim flags across the pool.
- Start: 8:00 AM

2026 Season Registration Fee: Registration fees for this season must be paid before the Time Trials begins tomorrow. If you have not yet turned in your payment, please do so ASAP. You can deliver money to Jeremy Davis at 117 Cedargrove Place or bring it to the meet. Jeremy will be on site to collect payment.
Theme: Gator Pride -- wear green or a Greenway Gators t-shirt (2026 team shirts are coming soon!)
Location: Greenway Farms Pool, 55 Meade Drive, Leesburg, VA 20175
Parking Details: Please leave space for our visiting team to park in the pool parking lot. Additional parking is available on Greenway Drive and Meade Drive once the pool parking lot is full.
Restricted Areas: The game room is reserved for concessions, and the baby pool is closed during the meet.
Volunteers: The meet will not begin until all volunteer spots are filled. Please sign up now to avoid delays on Saturday morning.
- Check in by 7:30 am. There is a table located just outside the baby pool area where volunteers can check in and pick up their name tags.
- Stroke & Turn meeting at 7:35 am
- Timers briefing at 7:45 am near the lifeguard office (this is for ALL timers, first and second half)
Spectator Viewing Area: The area under the awning/sunshade is reserved for the swimmers. The visiting team will use the snack area (to the far right as you enter the pool deck from the locker rooms) with their guests using the space at that end of the pool. Please also share the space along the back fence (long lounge chairs). Gators spectators will use the space along the pool house side of the pool and the half of the lounge chair area closest to the awning. Please be sure to leave space for swimmers to move from one end of the space to the other so they can set up for their events.
Please remind your swimmers to stay with the team during the meet. If the coaches cannot find your swimmer for their event, they might miss it.
Supervision: Coaches are responsible for the conduct of their swimmers and families and for cleaning up their team areas. Please remind swimmers to stay with their team during the meet and to clean up afterward.
Concessions: Cash-only concessions will be available with an assortment of items on hand.
Weather: Saturday morning should start pleasantly, but the pool deck will warm up quickly! Pop-up storms are not anticipated. If anything changes, a team alert will be sent using SwimTopia. Our pool management company has a 30-minute wait period after a thunderstorm or lightning strike. The pool deck must be cleared during that time. Team Reps and Head Coaches will address any weather delays accordingly.
Heat Sheets: Available here and on the Documents and Links page. Copies will also be displayed in the team area at the meet. NOTE: You can also track the meet using the SwimTopia app. There is a 7-day free trial and a $5.99/month charge thereafter.

Eat a good dinner, hydrate, and get some rest tonight. We are looking forward to a fun morning, Gators!
See you at the pool!
