Those of you who have attended preseason practices have undoubtedly noticed we have a new pool management company this year. We’re also learning about some new pool access procedures that come with this change.

Pool Entry: Please enter the pool through the game room and check in with the lifeguards upon arrival. They have a table set up just outside the game room, along with a copy of our team roster, so they can check swimmers in for each practice. This process will apply to all practices throughout the season.

In addition, the lifeguards have asked that swimmers take a quick rinse before entering the pool. We’ve all seen the “Shower Before Entering” signs at pools for years, and while this hasn’t always been emphasized in the past, it does help maintain proper water chemistry. The guards would greatly appreciate your support with this request.

The lifeguards also had an incorrect sign posted outside their office indicating that preseason practices are not held on Mondays. Preseason practices are held on Mondays, and we have provided them with an updated sign. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused.
