Registration is simple, but please note the following important details:

Registration Fees

The Greenway Gators have not adjusted registration fees in at least a decade. Due to increasing costs, there is a minor increase of $10 per swimmer for this season. The per-family Non-Resident fee remains $100.

Swimmers registered for Mini Gators ($110) who advance to the Age Group Swim Team ($130) will be charged an additional $20 to cover the difference in fees.

Payment Information

Your registration will be confirmed once payment has been received. Please remit payment to the Greenway Gators Treasurer, Jeremy Davis.

Checks should be made payable to “Greenway Gators Swim Team” and mailed or dropped off at 117 Cedargrove Place SW in Greenway Farms

What’s Included

Registration includes one team T-shirt and one swim cap per swimmer. T-shirt sizes will be selected during registration.

Team swimsuits and additional Gators merchandise (extra shirts, etc.) will be available through our online store: https://greenwaygators.swimtopia.com/swimoutlet-team-store. Items will be shipped directly to your home. Swimsuits are available now. Additional merchandise will be published on April 1.

Age Group Swim Team Eligibility

New swimmer evaluations will be held on Tuesday, May 26. This applies to:

• All new swimmers
• 2025 Mini Gators interested in joining the Age Group Swim Team

Requirements:

• Swimmers age 8 and under must swim one length of the pool (freestyle or backstroke) unassisted.
• Swimmers age 9 and older must swim two consecutive lengths of the pool in at least one stroke (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, or butterfly) without assistance or touching the bottom.
• All swimmers should be willing to attempt a second stroke and use a kickboard to swim across the pool once.

Note: During practice, swimmers will be expected to complete multiple lengths in a set.

Swimmers who are not yet ready for the Age Group Swim Team are encouraged to participate in Mini Gators if they meet the eligibility guidelines.

Mini Gators Eligibility

To participate in Mini Gators, swimmers must be ages 4–8 and able to:

• Comfortably put their face in the water
• Blow bubbles
• Float on their back for 10 seconds unassisted
• Swim 20 feet unassisted without touching the bottom (the length of the stairway section of the pool)

Note: Swimmers not yet ready for Mini Gators are encouraged to take group or private lessons and try again next season.
