The Greenway Farms Gators will be hosting the Franklin Park Stingrays on Wednesday, July 9!

*** Please note that weather may once again be a factor. We will be closely monitoring the radar and forecast throughout the day. Our goal is to make a preliminary decision regarding a delayed start or cancellation by 3:00 PM, with a final determination made by 5:00 PM for a potential 6:00 PM late start.

This is a large meet, and any delay may impact our ability to complete all scheduled events. Please be aware that we must wrap up the meet no later than 9:30 PM. Weather-related updates will be communicated as soon as they are available. ***

Spirit Theme: It’s Neon Night! Wear your brightest neon colors and get ready to shine at our final home meet of the regular season!

Location: 55 Meade Drive SW, Leesburg, VA

Parking Details: Please leave space for our visiting team to park in our pool parking lot. Additional parking space is available on Greenway Drive and Meade Drive.

Entrance Instructions: Please use the locker rooms to enter and exit the pool area.

Schedule:

• Pool Deck open: 5:00 pm
• Greenway Farms warmups: 5:10 – 5:30 pm
• Visiting team warmups: 5:30 – 5:50 pm
• Officials briefing: 5:40 pm by the lifeguard office
• Timers briefing: 5:45 pm by the lifeguard office
• National Anthem: 5:55 pm. Coach Emma will be looking for three swimmers to swim flags across the pool.
• Meet begins: 6:00 pm
• Meet ends: 9:00 pm (approx)

Volunteers: The meet will not begin until all volunteer spots are filled. Please sign up now to avoid delays on Saturday morning.

Spectator Area: Gators spectators should use the space along the pool house side of the pool and the half of the lounge chair area closest to the awning. Please leave space for swimmers to move from one end of the space to the other so they can set up for their events.

Supervision: Coaches are responsible for the conduct of their swimmers and families and for cleaning up their team areas. Parents, please remind your swimmers to stay with the team during the meet.

Restricted Areas: The game room is reserved for concessions. The walk-in area of the main pool and the baby pool are closed during the meet.

Concessions: Cash-only sweet and savory (e.g. pizza and hot dogs, chips, candy, and a variety of cold drinks) concessions will be available.

Weather: If the weather impacts the swim meet, a text alert will be sent using SwimTopia. There is a 30-minute wait period after a thunder/lightning strike. The pool deck must be cleared during that time. Team Reps and Head Coaches will address any weather delays accordingly.
