We’re excited to announce that the Greenway Gators will be hosting the Division 4 Championship Meet (Divisionals) on Saturday, July 19—a first in team history! This is a major event involving five teams, and we’re calling on our entire Gator community to help make it a success.

As with any swim meet, you must declare your swimmers by 7:00 PM on Thursday, July 17. Heat sheets will be published on Friday, July 18.

Swimmer Eligibility & Entry Guidelines

When selecting events, please carefully review the following eligibility requirements:

• Swimmers must have participated in a minimum of two regular-season meets, not including Time Trials
• Swimmers must have a valid time in any event they enter (NT entries are not permitted)
• Swimmers who have qualified for one All Star event may participate in Divisionals, but not in the event for which they qualified
• Swimmers who have qualified for two or more All Star events are not eligible to participate in Divisionals
• Each swimmer may enter up to three individual events: freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly, and individual medley (IM)
• There are no relays at Divisionals.

Volunteer Support Needed – We Can’t Do It Without You!

Volunteer slots have been assigned to each team, and as the host, Greenway Farms has a big role to play. In addition to timers, trained officials, deck marshals, and clerks of course, we are also responsible for:

• Set-up (Friday, July 18)
• Concessions
• Parking guidance
• Swimmer drop-off support
• Clean up after the meet

This is a large and complex event, and we truly cannot do it without your help. Please sign up—and sign up early—so our event organizers can rest a little easier knowing that the major roles are covered.
