The Greenway Gators and Woodlea Watermocs had so much fun with our novelty races and community food drive that we've decided to make it an annual event!

Please join us for our second annual racing exhibition and community food drive benefitting Loudoun Hunger Relief.

How do we win?

Bring non-perishable food items if you are participating in the relay races. The team with the biggest pile of food WINS!! :)

What are the events?

• Tandem 50m Relay: (Teams of 4)
  • 2 swimmers work together (one pulling and one holding the other's ankles while kicking) to swim 25m.
  • Then 2 more swimmers swim in tandem the final 25m.
• Chicken Relay (Teams of 4)
  • One swimmer must get across the pool while balancing a rubber chicken on their head.
  • Then they will pass the chicken off to their teammate.
  • Teams will swim 4 lengths total.
  • There will be a different swimmer for each length.
• Tee Shirt Relay (Teams of 4)
  • Swim across (any stroke) wearing a big shirt and then next swimmer must put same shirt on before they enter the water.
  • Teams will swim 4 lengths total.
• Gator Relay (Teams of 4)
  • 2 swimmers per inflatable gator will get creative and get their gator across the pool as fast as possible
  • Teams will swim 2 lengths of the pool total.

• Select two events only. We will make adjustments if space allows.
• Please include your swimmer's name in the comments.
• Be sure to fill one slot per swimmer.
• If you would like to swim with your friends, please note who you would like to swim with in the comments section as well. Our coaches will set up the relay teams and aim to accommodate all requests, but since we are a family, we appreciate everyone's flexibility.
