PLEASE READ - Divisionals Announcement:
The Greenway Gators are excited to announce that our team will be hosting the upcoming Divisional meet for ODSL Division 4 (Belmont, Franklin Park, Greenway Farms, Hartland, and Kirkpatrick Farms). Big thanks to Ben Graham for working with the HOA to obtain approval for our team to host and for securing parking at Greenway Manor that day!
With five teams attending, this is a big event that will require a lot of volunteers. Please stay tuned for more information. Thank you in advance for your help! We are so excited to be hosting this year!
Wondering what the Divisional swim meet is all about? We have information about end-of-season (EOS) meets on our website here: https://greenwaygators.swimtopia.com/end-of-season-meets (hint: they are a lot of fun!)
Inclement Weather Reminder:
- If the pool needs to be closed due to the weather, practices will be canceled. This could also mean practices may end early on occasion. Please keep an eye on the weather and trust that a News Alert will be posted to the Gators Facebook group if practices need to be delayed or canceled.
- During swim meets, lifeguards on duty will determine the safety conditions of the pool and facility. If the pool needs to be cleared, please report to your vehicles immediately and await further instructions. We will follow the National Lighting Safety Institute’s recommendation of waiting 30 minutes from the last sound of thunder or sight of lightning before resuming. Team Reps, in conjunction with the Referee and the lifeguard staff,f will determine whether the meet can resume.
We are looking forward to another fun week!!
Go, Gators!
