Greenway Gators registration for the 2025 summer season is now open for GWF residents!

Registration is easy but we would like to point out a couple of things:

1. Your registration will be confirmed once payment has been received. Please remit payment to the Greenway Gators Treasurer, Jeremy Davis. Checks should be made payable to "Greenway Gators Swim Team" and mailed or dropped off at 117 Cedargrove Place SW in Greenway Farm.
2. Registration includes one team T-shirt per swimmer.
3. Coming soon! Team swimsuits and additional Gators merch (extra team shirts, etc.) will be made available through an online store. Items will be mailed directly to you. We will share the link as soon as it is available.

Swim Team Eligibility

Residents and Non-Residents of Greenway Farms may register their children aged 4-18 years old (as of June 15).

• GWF Resident registration opens March 1
• Non-Resident registration opens March 22

Gators Eligibility

New swimmer evaluations will be held on May 27. This is for all new swimmers on the team. 2024 Mini Gators looking to join the team should also plan to attend.

• 8 and Under swimmers must swim one length of the pool freestyle or backstroke unassisted.
• 9 and older swimmers must swim 2 consecutive lengths of the pool in at least one stroke (free, back, breast, fly) without assistance or touching the bottom.

All swimmers should also be willing to attempt to demonstrate a second stroke and to use a kickboard to swim across the pool one time.

Note: At practices, swimmers will be expected to swim more than one length during a practice set.

If a swimmer is not qualified for our competitive team, we encourage them to participate in the Mini Gators if they meet the guidelines for that group.

Mini Gators Eligibility

To join the Mini Gators, a swimmer must be between 4 and 8 years old and be

• Comfortably able to put face in the water
• Able to blow bubbles
• Able to float on back for 10 seconds unassisted
• Swim 20 feet unassisted without touching the bottom (in any form). This is the length of the stairway section of the pool.

Note: Swimmers not yet ready for the Mini Gators program are encouraged to take group or private lessons to prepare for the following season.
